Stud Service Contract

This is not official contract but it gives you a basic idea what to expect, every contract is individual.

 

1. The original fee charged for the stud service is $1500 (fifteen hundred)

 

Every official health test reduces original amount of stud fee for $300. For example:

 

- If owner of female provides official Heart Test (Doppler Echo result) - the stud fee is $1200 (twelve hundred dollars)

- and provides official HD test (OFA or BK) - the stud fee is $900 (nine hundred dollars)

- and provides official Spine Test (OFA or BK) - the stud fee is $600 (six hundred dollars)

 

For each additional earned title (working, agility, or ZTP) - amount of stud fee reduces for $100 (one hundred dollars)

OR (for owners of females with european pedigree, if we found it interesting for our breeding program)

 

The owner of the dam identified above agrees on this date _______________________ (initiated____) that stud owner(s) will be given their first pick of a puppy from this litter before the stud owner(s) will sign the AKC litter registration application. If litter is 7 and more puppies - first and third pick. Stud owner(s) must make their choice of their pick puppy by _________________ (no earlier than 7 weeks and no later than 10 weeks of age)

 

2. Total offered 2 matings with said female:

first time __________________(date), second time_________________________(date)

 

3. The payment for mating might be devided: first payment $_______ before the first mating and second payment $_______ after last mating

 

4. The owner of the female will provide the owner(s) of the stud with a current negative Brucella Test (for natural breeding)

 

5. "A litter" is defined as at least two live puppies at 6 weeks age

 

6. If only one live puppy is produced, the female's owner may keep this puppy in return for a fee of $200 (two hundred dollars) paid to the owner(s) of stud. The payment might be spend for "checking up of sperm quality" .

 

7. If NO puppies are produced from breeding, repeat/return service is available to the same female in a later heat (during one year), to the same stud. The following veterinary procedures shall be performed and their results are satisfactory to the stud owner(s):

- aerobic cervical (high vaginal) culture and sensitivity

- mycoplasma cervical (high vaginal) culture

- white blood count

- brucella test

- thyroid (T4) test

- lyme Western blot

 

8. If re-breeding occurs and again no puppies are produced, the stud's owner is under no additional obligation to the female's owner

We can offer boarding of your female in our house for 2 days only.   The mating will occur in the presence of female's owner.
